At The Wellness Hub, our PelviPower Men’s Health programme is designed to support men experiencing bladder weakness, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and erectile dysfunction, particularly following prostate surgery or prostate cancer treatment.
Many men experience changes in bladder control, pelvic floor strength and sexual function after a prostatectomy, but these symptoms do not have to be accepted as a normal part of recovery. PelviPower offers a safe, non-invasive and physiotherapy-led approach to strengthening the pelvic floor and supporting rehabilitation.
What Is PelviPower?
PelviPower is an advanced pelvic floor training system that uses electromagnetic stimulation technology to activate and strengthen the pelvic floor and deep core muscles.
During treatment, gentle magnetic pulses stimulate the nerves that control the pelvic floor, causing the muscles to contract naturally. This helps retrain weakened muscles and improve the connection between the brain and the pelvic floor, supporting better function and control.
The treatment is comfortable, fully supervised and performed while you remain fully clothed.
PelviPower for Post-Prostatectomy Recovery
Following prostate surgery, many men experience temporary or ongoing pelvic floor weakness. This can affect confidence, daily activities, exercise and quality of life.
PelviPower may help support recovery from:
- Urinary incontinence after prostate surgery
- Stress urinary leakage
- Pelvic floor weakness
- Reduced core stability
- Post-prostatectomy rehabilitation
- Lower back discomfort
- Reduced confidence returning to work, sport and exercise
By strengthening the muscles that support the bladder and pelvis, PelviPower can form an important part of a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.
PelviPower and Erectile Dysfunction
The pelvic floor muscles play an important role in male sexual health. Weakness in these muscles may contribute to erectile dysfunction and reduced pelvic stability.
PelviPower is designed to strengthen these muscles and support overall pelvic function. When combined with appropriate medical advice and physiotherapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation may help improve muscle activation and confidence.
Potential benefits include:
- Improved pelvic floor strength
- Enhanced core stability
- Better pelvic muscle control
- Support for erectile function rehabilitation
- Improved confidence and wellbeing
How Does PelviPower Work?
The PelviPower chair uses targeted magnetic field stimulation to create thousands of gentle pelvic floor muscle contractions during each session.
This helps to:
- Activate weakened pelvic floor muscles
- Improve neuromuscular communication
- Strengthen the deep core
- Support bladder control
- Aid post-surgical rehabilitation
Treatment is non-invasive, requires no recovery time and can easily be incorporated into a wider rehabilitation plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are a few common questions we regularly get asked. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch and our friendly team will be happy to help!
Most men benefit from a course of 5–10 sessions, although this will be tailored to your individual recovery and rehabilitation goals.
You will sit comfortably on the PelviPower chair while gentle electromagnetic stimulation activates your pelvic floor muscles. You remain fully clothed throughout the treatment, and your session is supervised by a trained clinician.
Most patients experience gentle muscle contractions as the pelvic floor muscles engage. The treatment should not be painful.
A typical session lasts 15–20 minutes, making it easy to fit into your day.
You can attend in normal everyday clothing. There is no need to change or undress.
Many men notice improvements over a course of treatments, with results building gradually as pelvic floor strength improves. Consistency and adherence to your rehabilitation programme are important for the best outcomes.
